Before you arrive
Arriving at your apartment, from registration to check-out
Arriving at an apartment you have never seen raises questions: when you can get in, how the door opens, what details you will be asked for and why. Here is how it works at our apartments, from the moment you book until you hand back the keys, so on the day you only have to worry about getting here.
Your arrival, step by step
Our apartments have no reception desk. Everything you need to arrive and get in is in a personal link for your stay: a web page that opens on your phone, with no app to download and no account to create.
This is the whole journey, from booking to check-out day.
From booking to check-out
You book
You receive your booking confirmation. If you book on our website, you tell us your expected arrival time and any requests in the comments box.
We send you your personal link
Before you arrive we get in touch with the link to your stay. From then on you can see the apartment's address, how to get there and practical information about the home.
You register your party
In the same link you fill in the details of everyone staying. At the end, the lead guest signs on the screen to confirm them.
It is a legal requirement for all guests.
Arrival day: check-in from 15:00
With registration done, the link shows you how to get into the apartment and the Wi-Fi password.
During your stay
House rules, how things work, recommendations on the map and our contact details: it is all still in your link.
Check-out by 11:00
The link includes a ‘Before you leave’ section with what to do when you leave the apartment.
Before you travel: guest registration
In Spain, holiday accommodation has to record the details of everyone who stays and report them to the Ministry of the Interior. This is set out in Royal Decree 933/2021, and it applies to every booking, wherever you made it.
That is why we ask you to complete online registration from your link before you arrive. Every guest is registered, including children: their details are provided by the adult they are travelling with.
These are the details the form will ask for:
- Each person's name, surname(s), sex, date of birth and nationality.
- Type and number of the ID card or passport of each adult.
- Usual home address.
- A contact phone number or email address.
- If children are travelling, their relationship to the responsible adult.
Your entry instructions
As soon as you receive your link you can see the apartment's address and how to get there, so you can plan your journey in good time.
The steps to get in, and the access codes if your apartment has them, appear on the day of arrival and only once guest registration is complete. It is a security measure: nobody else can see them ahead of time.
Each apartment has its own way in, and the link walks you through it. In some, for example, you open the building's street door from your phone.
| What | When | Bear in mind |
|---|---|---|
| Guest registration | Before you arrive, as soon as you get your link | Required for every guest, children included. |
| Entry instructions and Wi-Fi | On the day of arrival | Only visible once registration is done. |
| Check-in | From 15:00 | Arriving earlier? Message us. |
| Check-out | By 11:00 | Need to leave later? Message us. |
These are the general times for all our apartments. If you book on our website, your receipt shows them too.
Arriving early, very late or with luggage
Check-in is from 15:00 so there is time to get the apartment ready. If your flight or train gets in earlier, message us: depending on that day's bookings, we will tell you whether there is any option. Early check-in, when it is possible, is a separate service with a charge.
If you are arriving late, let us know your expected time. You can choose it in your link, and you can also mark that you will arrive in the early hours, after midnight on your check-in day.
If you need to drop off luggage before check-in or leave it after check-out, ask us in advance and we will tell you what options there are for your apartment.

During your stay
Your link stays with you throughout: the Wi-Fi password, the house rules, cards explaining how things work, a map with recommendations near the apartment, the weather forecast and our contact details.
The rules are the same at all our apartments:
- No pets.
- No smoking inside the property.
- No parties or events.
If something isn't working or you have any question, message us on WhatsApp, call us or send us an email: the Dossan team in Málaga will help you.
Check-out
Check-out is by 11:00. In your link you will find the ‘Before you leave’ section, with the steps to follow when you leave the apartment.
If you would like to leave later, message us in advance. It depends on whether someone is arriving that day and, when it is possible, it is a separate service with a charge.
