Booking direct on our website: how it works and what you get
You can book our apartments directly on this website, with no middleman. You see the availability and total price for your dates straight away, pay on a secure page and get your confirmation there and then. Here we explain each step, how payment works and what happens next.
How booking direct works
Booking on our website takes four steps and you don't need to create an account. You can start from the search page, with your dates and number of guests, or from any apartment's page.
The four booking steps
Dates
Choose your check-in and check-out dates and the number of guests. Each apartment's calendar shows free days, the nightly price and the minimum stay, and the booking panel works out the total price of your stay.
Your details
Check the summary and enter your contact details, your expected arrival time and any comments. Before moving on you accept the booking terms and the privacy policy.
Nothing is charged up to this point.
Payment
We check availability and price once more, and you go to Stripe's secure page to pay the total by card.
Confirmation
Once payment is complete you come back to our website, with your booking confirmed and your receipt.
The price: what you see and what you pay
Availability and prices come live from our booking system, the same one we use to manage all our apartments. What you see is the final price of the stay: accommodation and cleaning, taxes included.
Before paying you see the full breakdown. And just before charging we check the price again: if it has changed while you were filling in your details, we show you the new total before charging you anything.

How to pay
The full amount of the stay is charged when you confirm the booking, by card and in euros. Payment is made on the secure page of Stripe, our payment provider: you enter your card details there, not on our website.
If you go back without paying, nothing is charged and you can check your details and try again. The payment page also expires if you leave it half-way through, and in that case nothing is charged either.
What happens after you pay
You return to our website and see your confirmed booking with its receipt: booking number, apartment and address, dates, check-in and check-out times, guests, lead guest and amount paid. You can print or save it. Please note that the receipt confirms your booking and payment, but it is not an invoice.
We then email you at the address you gave us with your arrival instructions. Before your trip you will receive the personal link to your stay, where you complete the guest registration required by law.
Very occasionally, someone may book the same dates in the minutes while you were paying. If that happens, we refund the full amount and get in touch to find you an alternative.

On a booking platform
- You book with the platform's tools, usually with your account there.
- Payment follows that platform's rules.
- The terms are those of the listing on that platform.
- You generally contact us through its messaging system.
- It may suit you if you already use it and want all your bookings in one place.
The apartments, check-in and check-out times, guest registration and the team looking after you are the same wherever you book.
What you gain by booking direct
Above all, direct contact. From the moment you book you deal with the Dossan team in Málaga that manages your apartment, with no middleman. If you are travelling with a baby and need a cot, arriving at an unusual time or have a question about the apartment, add it to the booking comments or message us, and someone who knows the place will reply.
You also have all the information before you decide: the final price for your dates, the minimum stay and the terms, on the same page.
- Infants under 2 don't take up a place: add them when you book.
- For stays of more than 90 nights, message us and we will put together an offer.
- If some dates can't be booked on the website, message us and we will look into it.
Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to pay on your website?
Payment is made on the secure page of Stripe, our payment provider. You enter your card details there, not on our website.
When is the booking charged?
The full amount of the stay is charged when you confirm the booking, by card. Nothing is charged before the payment step.
What is the cancellation policy?
The booking terms, including cancellation, are shown before you pay and are on our booking terms page. If you have any questions, message us before booking.
Is the booking receipt an invoice?
No. The receipt confirms your booking and payment, but it is not an invoice. If you need an invoice, email info@dossanapartments.com with your billing details.
What if the price changes while I'm booking?
We check the price again just before charging. If it has changed, we show you the new total and you decide whether to go ahead.
Do I need to create an account to book?
No. We only ask for your contact details and the booking details, and you pay on Stripe's page.
